Project Type: Creation of Website - Andculture 2012
Janrain is a Software as a Service (SaaS) company that helps organizations succeed on the social web with its user management platform, a solution to improve user acquisition and engagement
Janrain engaged with andCulture to create a new website to help them solidify its position as progressive internet pioneers, and significantly refine current product messaging in preparation for transition into an enterprise platform solution company in 2012.
I was responsible for user experience and strategy.
Photographs from group exercises aimed at discovering target audience needs of the new Janrain website.
Research demonstrated the need to communicate multiple value proposition to two main audiences - Technical buyers and Marketing buyers. In order to begin understanding how to best communicate to these audiences, I created a story map of their interactions with Janrain. This story map was used to help identify launch points for engaging users.
The new Janrain site employed a much simpler layout. Three value propositions, which guided content throughout the site, took center stage here through the use of interactive icons.
